Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Lineartify, a platform that converts photos into line art and vector art (SVG and PNG) for use in tattoos, laser engraving, coloring books, printables, and other creative and commercial projects. By accessing or using Lineartify, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Service Description

Lineartify provides tools to turn photos into line art and vector-ready artwork. Our service includes:

  • Photo-to-line-art conversion: Upload a photo and receive line art (raster and/or vector).
  • Export options: SVG and PNG export, with options such as DPI control on applicable plans.
  • Use-case oriented workflows: Support for tattoo stencils, laser/CNC, coloring pages, Etsy printables, worksheets, and similar uses.

Plans (e.g., Free, Pro, Business) have different generation limits, export limits, and license terms as described on our pricing page and in your account.

Use of the Service

You agree to use Lineartify in compliance with all applicable laws. The service is for lawful creative and commercial use only, in line with your plan’s license terms.

User Accounts and Registration

  1. Account: You may need an account to access certain features. You must provide accurate information when registering.
  2. Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use Lineartify. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
  3. Security: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  4. Responsibilities: You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account and not to share your credentials.

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content and Generated Outputs

  • Your photos and inputs: You retain ownership of the photos and other content you upload. You must have the right to use and upload that content.
  • Generated line art:
    • Free plan: Outputs may be subject to watermarks or usage limits and are for personal use as described in the product. Export and generation limits apply.
    • Pro and Business plans: Subject to your plan terms, we grant you a commercial license to use the line art you generate (e.g., for client work, products, resale as allowed by your plan). You must still comply with these Terms and any plan-specific limits.
  • You do not gain ownership of our technology or platform; you receive a license to use your generated outputs as set out in your plan.

Lineartify’s Intellectual Property

  • The Lineartify platform, including its technology, code, design, and branding, is owned by Lineartify (lineartify.com). You may not reverse engineer, resell access, or use the service to build a competing product.

Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for:

  • Having rights to any photos or content you upload
  • How you use the generated line art (e.g., respecting third-party rights and applicable laws)
  • Any required disclosures (e.g., when platforms or law require disclosure of AI-assisted or generated content)

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates others’ rights
  • Use the service for fraud, spam, or to harm others
  • Bypass usage limits, payment, or access controls
  • Use automated means to abuse the service or scrape data
  • Resell or redistribute access to Lineartify in a way that is not permitted by your plan

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Plans, Credits, and Billing

  • Plans: We offer Free, Pro, and Business plans (and possibly others). Features, generation limits, export limits, and commercial license terms depend on your plan. Details are on our pricing page and in your account.
  • Billing: Paid plans are billed in the interval you choose (e.g., monthly or annually). You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we state otherwise.
  • Price changes: We may change prices with advance notice to existing subscribers as described at the time.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the matter is resolved.
  • Refunds: Refund policy is as stated on our site (e.g., no refunds for partial periods; you may cancel and retain access until the end of the billing period). For disputed charges, contact support@lineartify.com within a reasonable time (e.g., 30 days) after the charge.

Service Availability and Limitations

  • Lineartify is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • Generation and export limits apply per plan. We do not guarantee that every image will produce a specific result; output depends on input quality and our systems.
  • We may perform maintenance and will try to announce it in advance when possible.

Privacy and Data

We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using Lineartify, you consent to that processing.

Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your account as allowed in your account settings. You keep access until the end of the current billing period; downloaded files remain yours to use according to the license that applied when you obtained them.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, abuse, fraud, prolonged inactivity (with notice where appropriate), or when required by law.
  • Effect: After termination, your right to access the service ends. We may delete account data after a retention period. No refunds for prepaid periods unless we state otherwise.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING REGARDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, UNINTERRUPTED USE, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINEARTIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT, OR ERRORS IN GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LINEARTIFY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lineartify and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or laws.

License You Grant to Lineartify

By using the service, you grant Lineartify a limited license to use, store, and process your uploaded content and generated outputs only as necessary to provide and improve the service (e.g., hosting, processing, support). We will not use your content for training models or as public examples without your explicit permission.

Governing Law and Disputes

  • Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lineartify operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  • Informal resolution: Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@lineartify.com to try to resolve the matter informally.
  • Arbitration / courts: If required by applicable law or our dispute resolution process, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction. You may waive the right to participate in class actions to the extent permitted by law.
  • Injunctions: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for intellectual property or confidentiality violations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes may apply:

  • To new users when posted
  • To existing users after notice (e.g., 30 days) where required

We will post the updated Terms on our website and update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and may cancel your account.

General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lineartify regarding the service.
  • Severability: If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms or your account without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, or restructuring.
  • Force majeure: Lineartify is not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war, pandemics, critical infrastructure failure).
